Other News
You may or may not be aware the Makerspace has been trying to move away from corporate owned social media and other internet services. To that end, we have a new Matrix server. What is Matrix? If you already have Matrix the server is

If you want to join, start here: https://element.io/en and download the client for your PC or get the phone app. Then try to join the above server. If you have trouble, or need an invite, feel free to email.
Internally, the leadership has moved over to Nextcloud, which is basically Google Drive without Google. We’ve been talking about if members should get drive access or something like it. If you have an opinion, reply back with your thoughts.
Of course, the Mastodon, and BlueSky links in the email signature work; please follow us! The Facebook group and Instagram account are still on the list of things that are checked regularly, but I personally do less with them.
