Makerspace Urbana’s Anti-Harassment Policy
Makerspace Urbana is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, immigration status, age, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of people at our events or space in any form.
Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive words or actions related to the identities, traits, and characteristics stated above; sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events; non-consensual inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.
Consequences
People asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to stop immediately. People breaking these rules will be sanctioned or expelled from the space or the event at the discretion of any Makerspace Urbana keymember.
How to Report
If you wish to report harassment, talk to the person wearing the host name badge at the space. If you’d like to report anonymously or privately, you can send a message to makerspaceu@gmail.com.
All reports are confidential and will be investigated quickly and fairly.
