Makerspace Urbana is located in the basement of the Independent Media Center. You can get to it from the ramp on the north side of the building, from the stairs down on the south side of the building, or by entering the IMC from the stairs on the west side, walking past the birds, and turning right twice to find the stairs down.

Come paint a mini sculpture at the Makerspace!

Have you ever seen tiny painted figures for DnD or other games and wondered how someone painted something so small?

Now is your chance to learn!

At our Mini Painting Workshop, you’ll get your own painting kit complete with the mini, the paints, and the brushes. At the end of the class, you’ll get to go home what your tiny painted creation. Our instructor will be able to show you all the tips and tricks needed to make it look awesome. A great way to learn painting minis and start a new hobby!
