Pi Day Celebration

It’s that time of year again when people come together in the spirit of peace, goodwill, and mathematics. That’s right kids: It’s time for Pi day!

In order to celebrate this momentous occasion, Makerspace Urbana and Py-CU will be holding a celebration with activities for all ages and skill sets.

Activities

11 am to 4 pm – Pi Day Swag

11 am to 4 pm – Calculate Pi!

11 am to 4 pm – Bake Sale (Sign up)

11 am to 1:59 pm – Pie Contest with prizes! (Sign up)

11 am to 1:50 pm – Raffle for Raspberry Pi Model 2 Starter Pack

12:30 to 1 pm – Lightning Talks

1 pm to 2 pm – Python Programming Contest with prizes!

2 pm to 4 pm – Raspberry Pi Workshop (Sign up)
