The wonderful people at the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum approached us recently about doing a workshop for their Girls do Science Club. We had about about 20 girls from 2nd grade-6th grade coming by so some of our member came up with the idea of doing a light up origami project with the kids. In this workshop we’ll be focusing on sewn ornament design and construction and the sewing skills that go with it. All ages and skill levels are welcome. No need to bring anything but your love of making.
